Debby Dettmer
Our deepest condolences go out to Marga's entire family!
My father, who rests in peace, was a third cousin to Marga's husband Rolf and this has given me the privilege to consider myself as part of her family.
When Marga came to the US in 1954, I was only 3 years old, and as she always reminded me I was one of the first to introduce her to the English language. She'd take me with her to the markets and I would "help" her with the translation of items there. Don't know how at 3 that was possible, but if she said so, so be it!
I spent a lot of time growing up with Sonya, Barbara and Lori . Marga was such a wonderful mother to them and it shows in all of their loving ways.
They are definitely a tribute to her. Our family get-togethers were filled with much love and laughter!
It even got better the last 3years when family get-togethers were now here in Florida. These memories of Marga are the freshest and will never leave me. She had such a warm, loving heart, that there will be a void now hard to replace. Still we will move on and always cherish her in our thoughts and hearts, as she rests peacefully now in heaven, with all our other departed family members.
Schuss Marga, we love you!
Love, Joe Petito and Debby Dettmer
