Rita Jeanette Spies, 78, of Palm City, Florida, passed away, Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.
Born in Fort Pierce, Florida, she had been a local resident all her life.
Survivors include her beloved husband of forty-seven years, John J. Spies, of Palm City; four sons, David Williams and his wife, Patty of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Andrew Williams and his wife, Kelley of Mesquite, Texas, Raymond Williams and his wife, Kristie of Pace, Florida, and John Williams and his wife, Susan also of Pace; one daughter, Dena Bushman and her husband, Bob of Palm City; her son-in-law, Ron Barkley of Milton, Florida; two brothers, Lowell Polk of Pensacola, Florida, and Lawrence Polk of Maryville, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mitzy Barkley, her brother, Ronnie Polk, and her sister, Nan Wilson.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Pine Rest Cemetery, Cove Road at Driftwood Avenue, Port Salerno, Florida 34992.
