Peggy Ann Hadden, 75, of Stuart passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home.
Born July 10, 1941 in Wilkesville, OH, she was the daughter of Wendell Wade and Ima Myrtle Wellington. Peggy moved to the Treasure Coast in 2000 coming from Tampa; she moved to Port St. Lucie for two and one-half years and then Stuart for 13 years.
Peggy was a customer service representative and had worked for Teltech Direct in Tampa.
She loved going to the beach to appreciate its beauty and comfort for the soul. Peggy was a Christian. She was an advocate for animals and a supporter of the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast as well as the SPCA.
Peggy was always laughing, even on her last day she enjoyed laughter and shared it with her sister and nephew.
Survivors include her beloved sister, Marilyn Kozusnik and nephews, Joseph, Michael and Scott Kozusnik.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hadden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peggy’s name may be made to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, 4100 SW Leighton Farm Avenue, Palm City, FL 34990.
